G`day Folks,

It seemed like as good a time as any to just run some trains in the shed.

GCJ is continually changing so hopefully each episode in the Just Running Trains series will have a slightly different feel to it. I think there was a time there around the middle of the series where there was more effort put into fancy filming to generate a different look to previous offerings. We may still come back to those techniques and with the addition of changing scenery, well I may even knock out an Academy Award winner for you one day.....:mutley2::mutley2::mutley2::mutley2:

Anyway back in the real world......enjoy this weeks relatively economic offering.

Another great production Gormo. Very enjoyable. The last scene coming in over the bridge was really good. Nice variety of loco's and rolling stock. I can't recall ever having seen the maroon western before. Either that or it's been holed up in the shed for maintenance for a while.

I was also paying a bit more attention to your ballasting in some of the scenes and it's nice to see the variance in the ballasting rather than too much uniformity. Very realistic.

Great stuff Sir

Cheers

Toto

Thanks Toto & Ron,

Toto the maroon diesel was a restoration done some time back and gets a regular run now that it works properly.

The variation in the ballast is deliberate and I think possibly a bit more like real life, I hope.

Ron it was filmed early on Sunday morning so as not to wake the little nippers or interfere with the church services in Great Chesterford.

We run a very courteous railway here in 1960`s Essex......what the heck the GWR is doing in Essex has got me wondering though..??????.....my ancestors ( railway men from Essex ) will be turning in their graves..???

You obviously misspelled Great Western instead of Great Eastern ! :mutley2::mutley2:

'Modeller's License' Gormo, nothing wrong with that.

The houses just up the embankment on the right in the video, look like new houses just being built.

Didn't 'click' until towards the end around 6:16 viewing from a different angle, that they're the low relief ones your working on.

You could always have them as houses currently being built, that would be a bit different.

Great video

By all means....and Rule 1...
