OK,
This years Christmas competition is taking on the Christmas theme.
You have a choice of the following two.
A fun Christmas diorama that does not have to be to any scale at all. The only stipulation is that it is as festive as possible.
A period diorama ....... to scale ...... any scale. again the theme is Christmas and it should be obvious when looking at it.

There is no size limitations. It can be as big or as small as you like. If you include a regular update on the forum even better but not essential. More consideration will be given as part of the judging criteria as to the amount of all round effort that goes in including the provision of updates though so the more you give, the better chance of winning.
Please feel free to ask any questions.
The closing date will be Saturday the 2nd of December ( midnight UK time )
anyone can enter including the mods. I'll be the bad guy and judge it. The prizes are yet to be announced but that will come very soon. There will be a prize for each category.

Mmmmm, :giggle::giggle: how about a Xmas lucky dip :mutley2:

Or my personal choice

Toto wraps it in Christmas wrapping paper and places it under the tree takes a photo of it and the winner can be surprised when they unwrap it for Xmas

I am not out yet (but I'm not in yet either:scratchchin:) My mind is a total blank for ideas but then creativity was never my strong point - Chris is the creative one in our house.

OK,
Although there is two categories, there will be a first and second prize. one chosen from each category ( unless everybody enters in the same category ) but one winner will be nominated first prize and the other second prize.
Now ........ although both prizes I consider to be top prizes, First prize is just that bit more special. First prize has been very generously donated to Platform1 from none other than Chris Pulham ( Robs other half ) and is a printed copy of her latest highlighted work " should we really be here ". I'd say that this will be a pretty unique prize as its unlikely that unless you make your own inroads into purchasing your own commissioned print, you wont see these being banded about anywhere else. I'd like to thank the generosity of Chris for this phenomenal prize.
Second prize is 150.00 of Townstreet products for the winner to spend as they like from the Townstreet range. A big thanks to our sponsor Townstreet ( pat ) for offering up this great prize as well. Townstreet offer castings in both OO scale and O gauge.
So ....... all to play for.
get your creative heads on and go for it.
Thanks go out again to Chris, Rob & Pat for their generosity and making our Christmas 2017 competition such a worth while campaign.
cheers for now
toto

What a great couple of Prizes on offer! So just confirming that no correspondence or brown paper bags will be considered in swaying the Judge's final decision.
