That's not a baseboard, that's an ark ! I know it rains a lot in Scotland, but surely you would need something slightly larger ! :mutley2::mutley2:

Quality craftsmanship there Toto, looks strong enough to hold up two oxen !

Cheers, Gary.

Hi Gary,

It is a bit of a beast but it needs to take a bit of punishment being moved in and out of the shed and banged about a bit. Nice sturdy ends for joining to the second baseboard.
it'll be mainly used outside on legs / trestles when weather permits or inside in the kitchen area but shifted back into the shed after use.

hopefully the second baseboard build will go as smoothly as the first with a nice reliable sector plate/ turntable.

cheers

toto

Don't go giving him any more animal fetishes, its bad enough with wasps, fox's and goats (although that's not really Toto's fetish) :avatar:, just as well there's no mention of sheep, else he'd be forever bleating about something

Paul

Looking forward to seeing the sector plate take shape, and the video of you playing with big trains :avatar:

Not chipped yet but they will be. May test them out on DC until I get the decoders ordered and fitted. I may even have a couple in stock. Can't remember what they take, 8 or 21 pin.

If the second board turns out like the first, I'll be happy. ....... Rock solid. ...... But heavy:avatar:

A 4.5 hour drive for a job interview..? Wow, that is commitment. I trust that they won't expect you to drive 9 hours a day, to and from work...! ;);) You may as well be a truck/courier driver, or a 'white van man', doing distances like that. Ha ha, if I'm correct, you're already a white van man !
Good luck with the goat tomorrow, I mean interview... :avatar:

Cheers, Gary.

Cheers Chris.

I've just arrived about half an hour ago. I have managed to find the bar.:avatar:

I'll limit it to one or two ........... Dozen http://www.click

I should know tomorrow if I have suitably impressed or failed dismally. The first interview on the telephone went very well. This time the Commercial Director is sitting in. :faint:

Fingers crossed.

Toto
