    G`day Folks,
I am forwarding on here another tip from Ray and I quote.

    "Another tip for painting models.

I had a loco body I wanted to paint the other day and needed something to hold it and turn it while I painted it. I took a wooden batten and wrapped some of that bubble wrap around it (I get lots of parcels!) - foam would also do. When it was the correct thickness to fit inside the body cavity I sellotaped it on. To let the paint dry I then stuck the baton in a vase! Did the job at no cost! "

    Thanks Ray

Great tip Gormo. I know holders are available ready made for a price but at least Rays are customable for the job at hand and much more attractive to me, cheap!!!

    Cheers, Pete.

Yes Pete........you can virtually make them up to suit the purpose. I would imagine two side by side would hold a coach very nicely..?
