Hi Were back - we have had an issue with the server, which is now resolved (hopefully). Sorry for the delay, but real work got in the way Paul
\Great that we are back up and running again so thank you Paul ... now this means back to the bogie build
I realised "Summat were up" on Wednesday evening when I couldn't get the Forum to load, and Thursday I was out all day anyway. (See my post on the East Lancs Railway). It was back up later last night when I tried, but bedtime called......zzzzzzzzzz!. Keith.
Tinto bottles Ian ... the solder and tin of flux took the brunt here at Yorkie Loco Works No forum meant I spent time in the workshop building those new 27 bogies.
I would just like to know who forgot to put some change in the meter to keep the forum ticking over...... Good to be back........I was getting withdrawal symptoms..... Gormo
No explanation. Highlander is on the same server but the site is not live yet anyway. The server was rebooted by Paul and all is ok. We probably could have had it back up sooner but we couldn't access the server earlier due to the constraints of working our day jobs. ( they come first ). I'm on a wind farm up the north of Scotland and don't have the ability to log onto the server ( without my employer logging it ) so that option was out. Paul is in a similar situation where his every login move is recorded. Fortunately these down time events don't happen too regularly. I don't fancy the task of moving everything over to another provider ..... The words stress. ... mayhem ...... calamity spring to mind. .
