Hi everyone, I've just started a new micro layout project using mostly cardstock kits, primarily the Scalescenes boxfile kit. So far, I've gotten 2 of the structures from the kit complete and have started on a third. I'll post progress as I go.
No pal, it's 4mm as I'm having a bit of a jaunt into British modelling for a quick change of pace. Rushing on at breakneck pace on my O scale layout with little tangible results was draining my enthusiasm, so I thought I'd switch things up a bit.
There's been a fair bit of progress done this last week, getting another couple of structures complete: The last structure isn't going exactly at that location, I just stood it there to allow me to take the photograph.
Thanks Andy, yours looks fantastic. I'm doing something like this with it: Using 4 of the laser cut baseboards shown in my build photos. The plan is to make it look like a colliery works.
Structure C is now finished, so I've started on the pump house and loading dock: Due to me using this on laser cut baseboards rather than in a boxfile, the model has required a fair bit of modification, including adding the brick wall along the back of the dock, which is a download kit from Model Railway Scenery. There's still a fair bit to do with it, but I'm happy with how it's coming along.
