Some years ago I hand built quite a number of OO Tudor buildings and a few others that have been sitting around doing nothing. Due to my commitment to care for a friend I seem to have little time to 'indulge' in my aim to build a new exhibition layout. I have been quite amazed by the quality of some of the smaller layouts being built and thought that this may give me an opportunity to create a small village serviced by a cute little narrow gauge railway and thereby utilising some of these models. The space I am looking at is 1200 x 600mm (4' x 2') I am sure that it could be an interesting little project.
Well Robyn..... You`re off to a heck of a good start with that little group of buildings. Very nice models.... I reckon build the village and the trains will come along somehow...??? Gormo
Thank you Gormo, I have a few ideas perhaps similar to the fishing villages in Cornwall with buildings going up the hill but make this village inland.
hi Robyn very impressive builds, full of character If you've any more I would love to see them Ian vt
Congratulations Robyn on making Picture of the Week , those Tudor houses are wonderful... full of charm and character... AND what is really nice is they are something a little different. Looking forward to seeing more buildings come on stream and a layout all in the fullness of time. Yorkie
Thank you for all your wonderful comments and picture of the week, my goodness that is a surprise. I will do some more work on the other buildings I have and post them as this little project develops.
