Hi this diorama build involves using a slightly bigger plinth than my previous diorama builds.
The diorama is called Waiting, this diorama will have a Hornby J50 waiting besides a coal staithe. The coaling area will be paved and the opposite side of the diorama will have the reminance of a stone building which will have a fenced area and plenty of undergrowth.

Hi can I say thank you for pressing the likes button.
Today I have managed to add the paving to the coal staithe area and the coal staithe is also in position now. Just need this to dry overnight before weathering up the paved area.
As always a picture of my progress.

Nice one Bo-Bo... looking forward to it. Talking of which I'm just about to start the Birchall Tunnel diorama I've been planning for some time now.

Thanks Ian vt for the kind comments. Today I have been rectifying the stone section of the diorama so the coal staithe is the opposite way round.
The piece of track has been changed as I wanted to remove the web from the sleepers, the track has been painted and weathered and laid back down.

Some more progress has been made on my micro diorama.
The stone yard has been painted and weathered and I need to add the coal staithe. The broken farmers wall has been modelled, painted and weathered which I am pleased with the result.
As always some pictures of my progress..

First of all thanks for the comments, it means a lot.
Yesterday I completed the ballasting and it’s dried nicely, just to weather to replicate muck, soot and grime.

Morning I have progressed a little further on my diorama. The grass work has been completed on farmers field and little bits around the track bed.
Once the staithe area is complete I can add a little grass around that area also.
Still a little more to do such as, adding the farmer, a coal yard worker with sacks and shovel, sheep for the field are and other items.
Here some pictures of my latest progress.
