A very slow first post here, tried a few times and tonight it has worked. Some of my O gauge work to get the ball rolling.
Excellent ..... a thing of beauty indeed. My favourite diesel era. That shed roof looks familiar. Who's kit is that or have you scratch built it ? Looks awesome. More of the same please. thanks for percevering with the posting attempts, you soon get the hang of it. Toto
I commissioned Timbertracks to make Old Oak Common shed from my research, it’s in its final throes of being done. Intentio are going to produce another version of it now too. A few more pics of things including an MOK Q1 I am doing for my Exhibition layout Newhurst.
Thought so. I have a timber tracks 4 lane shed and a goods shed. Not built yet. Very comprehensive kits. The MOK tender looks stunning. I have a few of their kits too but have not graduated on to tackling these yet. I'm very much at the rookie stage of kit building. Again, quality kits. I'd be interested in following your build as many of their kits will have a common build approach. Some fantastic images there. A pleasure to view. Toto
A very nice selection of corporate image traction there Cliff Looking forward to seeing much more and thanks for sharing here too.
Toto which 4 road shed? This one? If so you need to be aware of an issue with the shed road door pillars, they can foul stock. http://www.timbertracks.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=18_19&product_id=403
Very impressive Cliff, I was just wondering where the coal was put in, as didn't they still require a fireman to run Really nice models Paul
Hi Cliff, Congratulations on getting POTW .... a fantastic build on the tender. Beautifully done. Cheers Toto
The Q1 loco is far on, but dormant meantime while I do other projects. Won’t be too long before I get back on it. D6337 from a JLTRT kit nears completion with hand cut glazing throughout, half an hour a window but to me it makes a huge difference. Where do I see POTW please? I haven’t found that yet.
Cliff if you go onto the forum's home main page at the top of the centre column you will see the looping slideshow, Gormo's Shed is the first, the second is the NHS rainbow support symbol and then your Q1 tender build picture is the third slide. cheers Yorkie
Thanks for pointing Cliff in the right direction Yorkie. that Loco is looking amazing. I have a version coming from ACE which Kimbo done his build on but I am absolutely gagging to have the MOK version as well. I like the grid system they use for supporting the main etches. It looks great and I would love the chance to try it. great build. toto
