Tother day I had an email from Rails of Sheffield. They have some O gauge Dapol LMS Jintys for sale in their clearance/offers section at £149.50 + p&p, £153 uk.
Any way I have ordered one in early livery, I think thats all they have left. As soon as it arrives I will post up some photo's, though the plan is to re livery it into early BR.

    Cheers, Pete.

They are nice smooth runners Pete. I'm sure I bought one in early crest and one in late crest.

    you'll like it.

Finally managed to get my hands on it today as SWMBO kidnapped it until my birthday.

Really impressed with the level of detail, still room for more though. I need to source a crew, my preferred supplier is Modelu, really detailed figures. But first, run it on my rolling road, chip it then a change to BR and Barrow Hill shed allocation numbers. Then weathering.

    Cheers,Pete.

Very nice. I have two of these, one in LMS Black livery (16554) and the other BR lettering (47501). Great runners !

    Cheers, Gary.

Nice, very Nice, and at that price too. Luckily there's none left, otherwise I may have been seriously in the dog house :avatar:

Nice model Pete, I have the later BR version, runs a treat. She’ll look great with the MODELU3D figures inside at the controls.

The finish and build standard is really nice, I built one from an Alan Gibson kit in O gauge 20 odd years ago and this one is easily as good detail wise.

Won’t go far wrong with Alan’s figures. ModelU are one of if not, the best!

Its a cracking model Pete as stated before and it will bring lots of pleasure on your layouts, just a slight word of warning tho about some of the detailing, the smokebox lamp iron is extremely vulnerable and will go walkabouts if accidentally knocked also, keep your eye peeling in the cab handrails, after two years on mine they all suddenly became loose. There is a rectangular tab at the top of the rail which located behind the cab side wall, a tiny dab of glue will ensure they are secured if they ever come adrift.
