Hi Richard, I guess that is why our Forum works in the way it does as we are all enthusiastic modelers who try and go the extra mile helping each other with advice, support and just general banter, scale, gendre and period matter none either newbies and oldies (like me) ... its all a learning curve. Anyway its nice you joined and am looking forward to following your projects.
I followed a link to Platform 1 posted in the G0G Forum by Gunner. We are both ex-military types so his recommendation carried additional weight. I will try to post something soon. Right now I am reviewing the artwork for the Class 14 Teddy Bear so that we can get the decorated prototype made. Chris K
I saw the first test model a little while back and thought it looked brill'. One would go really well on my Wheeldon layout (if I ever get my finger out and finish it ). Pete.
Part of the Ethos for the forum is to replicate the bothy / canteen each club always seems to have, where you just sit down and blether with each other, talk over ideas, issues, have a good hearted bit o banter and hopefully help each other to progress and enjoy the hobby. The nearest we get to politics is wether you are an abstentionist or a partaker, i.e. you take sugar & milk in your tea or coffee. It's great you all like what you see, and hopefully will all enjoy.
