Hi guys i have been looking around the net as one does when trying to expand the limits of grey matter within ones head and came across these guys.

Team Track models supply scratch build textures and downloadable paper model kits for model railroaders.

I was wondering if anyone has used them for any of their models? they seem to have a great range of different warehouses and loading dock style buildings. They actually have a free loading dock download available online at the moment.

    https://www.teamtrackmodels.com/product-category/buildings/

thanks in advance for any feedback...

    Hi Chris

I've not used thiers, but have used a lot of Scalescene textures and can recommend them. Check out the Scratchbuilders yard
for brick papers and the Dockscene and Townscene sections for building, docksides, ship kits etc. etc.
Usual disclaimer, I have no finacial link to Scalescene - apart from the regular payments I send to them for the next item I need.

Primarily available in either OO or N, instructions are provided to rescale the prints via your printer to convert to otherscales.
The kits are very kit-bashable, and produce some very nice models.

Cheers Paul...Will check out Scalescene as well...new to all this so it good to find all these resources.

I just printed out the free loading dock...they give detail instruction as to best thickness of card stock for the project...seems one just glues the card to the plan and cut and glue as instructed.

Might try using the cereal box material and see what it comes out like...

    Fixed that :headbanger:

It was a warts an all thread that covered some of the pitfalls caused by different thicknesses of card stock, and how easy it is to rectify / overcome / bodge (normally the latter for me).

To seal the prints I normally use Winsor & Newton Galleria Acrylic Matt Varnish, applied with a 1/2" flat brush, it can also be sprayed.
My Victoria Road layout used a lot of Scalescene based models, and I think only the retaining wall model was the only one not greatly modified.

I am only a beginner too, and your find looks interesting (US$ HO). During research, I found this. https://modelrailwayengineer.com/free-model-railway-card-building-kits/ and thought worth a try. I have not tried any of these specically, but have found that different suppliers provide various quality of the downloaded models. I have made the scale scenes free download provender shed and think these are an excellent range, that take time to do. Some other types are quick and dirty that can be cut out with scissors, folded up and glued and are excellent for testing how things go in certain places. Good luck, I am interested to see how the dock comes out.
