Looking really nice Gormo. The effect you have created on the road surface is excellent.:thumbs::thumbs: All you need now is a weigh bridge & office ! ;)

Then again, knowing you, it is probably in the pipe line ! :D

    Cheers, Gary.

    G`day Folks,
This is the next project on the books.
The Scalescenes free weighbridge / coal office kit....link below
    https://scalescenes.com/product/r024-weighbridge-or-coal-office/
My model will be in the TX02 Brown Brick covering.
The sheets have been sealed for some time now, and this afternoon I started the build.
Pics to follow when I actually make a bit more progress.

Well it`s under way and won`t take too long to complete

    IMG20240112180016.jpg

Parts just leaning against each other, however last night the back wall with chimney was glued to the left hand end wall.
That needs to be checked this morning, and if all is good then the wall with the window can go on as well.

    More updates later today.

    OK,
Walls are glued together and the ceiling on the left has been prepared. The ceiling incorporates the guttering as well

    IMG20240113130235.jpg

Roof slates glued in place and waiting to be trimmed

    IMG20240113132833.jpg

    Roof fitted to building.

    IMG20240113135400.jpg

Assessing the position of the Weighbridge in relation to the building and the road

    IMG20240113140457.jpg

Coal Merchant sign and chimney fitted plus barge boards and the building is complete

    IMG20240113164607.jpg

The weighbridge is under weight at the moment and then the building can be sited properly.

    More as it happens

This is hugely impressive indeed Gormo... the only problem created in doing this project is that we are all now very adicted to following these modifications on GCJ, so the question is can you give a hint as to the next project please? Lovely work and I've thorougly enjoyed following the coal yard project.:tophat::tophat::tophat::tophat:

    Well Paul,
I`m working my way from right to left across the baseboard on Bamford.
The Timber Merchant still needs a yard crane and timber stacks and rubbish in the yard and the Coal Merchant needs some coal sacks and further scenery around behind the coal office.
From there I will move down to the terraced cottages area where I intend to create a small garden / oasis barrier between the tracks and the buildings.
This will be my daughters garden so I will have to make a good job of it. :whatever:
As part of that development, the footbridge will need to be sorted out and bedded into the scene.
Moving further along, I have a rectangular water tank on stand to fit in somewhere and also a Scalescenes garage kit as well.
    Plenty to keep me going

Ah that is brilliant news so we have much in store to await. I often tend to miss out on project updates and then "like" or comment on threads weeks after their posting.:tophat::tophat::thumbs:

    G`day Folks,
Just to round off the Coal Merchant saga we have a few pics of the building installed plus coal staithes installed and the scenic work done.
More can be added and will be added, but time for a change of pace.....maybe build a yard crane..???
    Anyhow here we go

And now a Before shot followed directly by an After shot from roughly the same position

I think it’s missing a colliery and headstocks for all those coal wagons.

Looks so good, enhanced by your point control system and the coupling operation, including the ability to loose shunt, haven't seen that before
