Were you not going to mail me your Heljan Class 33, as you decided to go O gauge ?? Oh, that's right, you are resurrecting the R&GLR... Damn ! Looking forward to the resurrection. This could be biblical ! Cheers, Gary.
Don't no about biblical, but there probably be a lot profanity and praying for guidance from above - or anywhere Our Lord and Master and beloved Flounder, will have two weeks to plan it's rise from the ashes - and we will have to deal with the consequences, tears and tantrums. Face it a one day visit to the Glasgow show resulted in Frank the multitable - for newer members, you will have to wait for Toto to bring that storey back to life, but needless to say Toto designed and built Frank the Multitable, a traverser, that rotated and had removable cassettes all in the one unit. All will be revealed - well if we bully him enough it will Paul
Hi Ed, Missed your post there. I have 37's in BR large and small logo, EWS, DRS, Colas and a TTS sound version in Network Rail livery. I think they were and still are the most memorable loco built. True work horses. Cheers Toto
I like them as well. ....... When Dapol get around to releasing them ........ In 2017 ........ Three years later
Dave - that's if Toto has left any for the rest of us . When he's back form lounging around, we'll all get him back on track - so to speak, he can apply his project management skills on getting R&GLR, Ordgait and Breadalbane (maybe now an O gauge layout instead of OO ). With the appropriate penalties for missing deadlines - may include lessons on how to use the washing machine and Iron. Paul
Hattons must be wondering where Toto is. Apparently they have gone into administration and liquidation mode as the sales haven't been up as expected ! Cheers, Gary.
Probably worthwhile investing in shares with Dapol, Parkside & Slaters, thier stock is likely to improve as Toto's increases Paul
You better get in quick then Paul. With Toto buying all things O gauge, there won't be much left, which in turn will push the prices up ! This might be good for us modelling OO. With Totos falling OO purchases, the sales will be wide spread and savings to us lot will be massive ! Cheers, Gary.
Hi Dave, Glad you like. I will eventually get some kind of running session up on video and show you a test run of where I am with the R & GLR at the moment. Gary / Paul I have neglected Hattons of late. To be honest, there's been nothing worth buying. Still waiting the class 29's to be released. Into 2017 now apparently. What a let down. Cheers Toto
Toto wrote: Don't think of it as a let down, thick of it as well waited for ! I waited for nearly 3 years for the Adams 02 to land, and I'm not dissapointed, definitely worth waiting for. Is the Class 29 from Dapol, or from DJ Models ?? Cheers, Gary.
Hi Gary, It's from Dapol. Still waiting to see any real illustration of how it may look so it must still be in the very early stages. I wouldn't mind if it were a 37 or a 25 as there are plenty others but the 29. Never mind, as you say, it will probably be worth the wait. Cheers Toto
