    Well,

My JLTRT 12 Ton van arrived today. Opened it up to have a swatch. :scratchchin: mmmmmmm the jury is out on this one.

The body comes preassembled with only the floor to glue in place. ....... There is however loads of bits to fit . It does instantly feel solid and nice and weighty.

I'm not sure exactly when the build will be but I will make it the next one I do to gave a change from the Parkside Dundas wagons.

I'll post up the build when I start it.

    Cheers

    Toto

As requested ........ what you get in the box.

    pretty comprehensive instruction and ........

a parts list for the brass and white metal bits.

more destructions to tell you where the bits go.

a 5% discount off your next purchase voucher
    [IMG]

The van body with the floor to be glued in ....... simple bit.

and held in place. some good detail and locating holes for some of the parts.

    Nice.

    nice clean fit.

    here comes trouble.

and more ..... the brass band. :avatar:
and some rods and poles etc.

    thats about it.
The one advantage over the Parkside Dundas kits is that the brake assemblies are far more robust ....... provided you skills are up to the mark on assembling.
It may not be that bad.
just awaiting the wheels to arrive and then find out the best glue to use.
    thats it for now

Superglue it is then. Doesn't sound very forgiving though so I'd better get it right first time. :avatar:
