aboard Derbys12, Good to have you aboard. As Paul said, get settled and come back with a bit about yourself. Let us know where you are with your modelling and how you heard of us. It's a friendly place to be so jump on and enjoy the journey with us. Cheers Toto
Yes, And don't worry going forward if you end up making any mistakes, we can normally tidy up most things. It'll take a little getting used too. Cheers for now Toto
Hola Derby12 and welcome from a very warm Spain as Toto said we're an informal bunch on Platform1mrc ... (there's even a goat hanging around here somewhere) ... have a good mooch around and most of all enjoy the journey ... Ian
Eyup Kevin, you found us ok then , you will find some things familiar here and some different but if I can negotiate here anyone can. When you,ve got used to how things work on here, post up some photos of your models, especially your weathered Fowler! that is brilliant for just powdered weathering! Cheers, Pete.
Hi Kevin, Welcome to the family from blustery Hertfordshire. Looking forward to your modelling pictures.http://www.click
Did someone say .......... Weathered Fowler. ....... I am all ears..... Well eyes actually. I will hopefully be chipping my Fowlers ( x 2 ) tomorrow, in fact ...... I might even look at them tonight. I'd love to see any examples of a weathered version for some ideas. Feel free to post up your version. Cheers Toto
Hi guys I'm from Sunny Chesterfield. I have a 12'x3' O gauge layout , all track is down and wired and ready for ballast. Have a few things on go buildings etc and weathering my stock. Loosely based Gwr , but more I built it I'll run what I like lol. Useless at soldering so do what I can lol. And also when health allows. Will post up pics of my locos and layout and my fowler Pete likes . Site was recommended by Jakesdad 13. Cheers all http://www.clickhttp://www.click
Hi Kevin, welcome aboard from down the road in Newark. Just moved house so limited modelling at the moment but Weybourne will be rebuilt as and when decorating etc is done!! CheersRon
Hi there Kevin, Great to have you aboard. You have said the magic word at the moment as there is a very good element of O Gaugers on here. A big thanks to Pete for recommending us ........ We must be doing something right. I'll look forward to your photos. Even keener now you have a fowler to post up. My soldering skills are a bit basic. I'm not the neatest I'm afraid. However, I get by ........ Just. Thanks for posting up and introducing yourself, it much appreciated as it gives us an idea of where people are with their projects and location. We will be trying to organise meet ups at shows etc to which everyone is welcome to attend. Just to put names to faces. Not compulsory if it's not of interest but some like the idea. You will see posts going up from time to time advising of any social meet ups. I hope you enjoy your journey with us on the forum. Cheers Toto
You could put some tasters of what you are modelling, then later start a thread of your own, we love pics we do . Pete.
