Hi. Thanks for the warm welcome. My Layout at aged 15 [OO Scale] ~ completed, sold, then got into Radio Control Gliders. Always wanted to have a 'Reverse Loop' under the board to turn the trains as I got a bit dizzy running mostly clock-wise. The track and points were both Hornby and Peco. The points out of reach [6] used Peco PL-10 point motors. Other scales modelled [done] now include: HO Scale ,N Scale, and 5 inch gauge, and still got the 'thumbs' [fingers] on the gimbals flying R/C Planes..
Great intro PC163. I remember as an 12 year old back in '81, looking through my mates Hornby catalogues thinking, I would own it all, if I could afford it ! You certainly keep your self busy with the different layouts, the 5" trains and the R/C aircraft. Looking forward to your layout posts when you get started. What area of Sydney are you in ?? Cheers, Gary. ps. great photo !
