Just a reminder . . . when posting multiple Photos in a thread, Hitting space two or three times BEFORE and AFTER posting a Photo will space out the photos so you have a gap between them. It makes it easier if you decide to go back and edit the thread to add some text above or below a Photo at a later date ( Opera seams to need more spacing than other browsers but otherwise works well ,see which spacing works best for you )

If you see text appearing BESIDE your photo you need to add one or two more line breaks between the text and photo
Anyone who wants me to go back and space some already posted ,just drop me a Pm saying which thread and I'll see what I can do

    Cheers

Use . . . Cntrl and mouse scroll wheel . . .or 'Cntrl and - or + ' to zoom the screen in and out if you find the text a bit small

How do I delete a post please/ I've made one on Gormo's and yes I can get rid of the text but it keeps adding more and more blank space.

Two things 1/ how do I delete the whole post.

Or 2/ can an Admin do it please.

It's the blank page post I'm trying to clean up.
Episode 60 17 post number 14??? showing just blank???

    Thanks

    Thanks Toto.
I'm not sure I've got the hang of editing on here just yet?
If I delete a sentence it seems to put huge gaps between the lines of text
If I try to delete these gaps they just get bigger and bigger?

Another thing is if I try to add an emoticons I get 3 with some text added like this >>>
    document.write('/images/emoticons/cool.gif');
[IMG] if this works it could be down to the animated ones causing the problem.
You may notice the spacing in this post is a little off too.
I can make it appear okay when I'm writing up the post but the instant I post it to the forum it screws.

I'm on W10 on IE in case that's the problem.
I've found Gormos page with some help bits but I can't read it nor enlarge it but is there a selfhelp page that shows all the how do's.

Once I get the posting and editing sorted I'll be happy.

    Hi Barnaby

    Back with IE 11

Line spacing appears different to Edge, which felt compressed compared to Firefox.

Trying the same test 3 copies of the headbanging emoticon and text, then edit the middle one

    :headbanger: asdfgdgfhdghhg
will delete text, and add text, but no emoticon

    :headbanger: asdfgdgfhdghhg

    Save then edit

Appears to be a IE11 issue, as I cannot add emoticons in the edit window

    Hi Barnaby

Appears to be an IE 11 issue.

Edge & Fire allow editing allows editing without issues, IE11 struggles, and puts in double spaces as well.

Thanks for looking at that Paul. May just be a case of changing your browser.

    Hello all
    Thanks for your helping hands.

Seems Like I need to use Firefox on here.
I'd prefer to use IE if possible, there's definitely no work-a-round available then?

I do have Google Chrome installed as a some time use Browser but I nearly always revert back to IE.
I can read ok it just seems the posting is an issue, I'll give it some thought.

Cheers Ron I'll try that as I have it on here already.

Did try Fire fox but not impressed. It may work with this forum but it attaches to everything and wants to send multi reports out.
I do have some tight security progs and they didn't seem to keen on this so I've binned it off again.
If Chrome works I'll use that when on here if not I'll just sit with read only on IE.

    Thanks again all

    Hi Barnaby

I tend to use Firefox, because I work on Win 7, Win 10 and Linux OS's, and gives some semblance of sameness between OS's.

Palemoon - based on firefox also works without issue, and may be worth a try.

I know Toto uses Opera - finds it reliable and easy to use.
