G'day Moxy, Welcome aboard from SAydney. Looking forward to reading about your own models and modelling interests. If you have any questions, just ask away, we're a friendly bunch ! Enjoy the camaraderie and banter that is P1MRC. Cheers, Gary.
Hi Moxy and welcome to the tribe. Hope you enjoy your stay and look forward to hearing from you in the future. Although I had been modelling for many years, the advice from PFM1 members has sent my skills and enjoyment to new levels. Am sure you will find this also. Cheers and happy modelling. Richard
Thanks for all the welcomes guys, I've not had much chance to look around since I signed up. Interests - well mostly narrow gauge, quite a few projects in 009, TTn3, H0e, and 5.5mm scale on 16.5mm gauge (3 foot gauge) going on at the moment. I've not long since moved house (and downsized) so everything is mostly still in boxes at the moment. Main use of modelling time seems to be sorting the boxes into which models are for which project! In addition I also have quite a few standard gauge interests; green/blue diesels (BR) in 00, American HO (New England in 1970's/80's), American N (same era/region), a bit of 1950's BR in 0 gauge, some Triang TT, or and not to forget a collection of British HO, mostly Playcraft/Jouef & Lima which may see use on a shunting plank at some point. I wonder why I never seem to finish anything......
Sounds like you are a 'rubber gauger' like a few of our members here. So, what is a rubber gauger ?? rubber gauger : verb and noun ; one who models in various scales and gauges. Cheers, Gary.
There seems to be a few Narrow Gauge modellers gracing the forum, always good to something different to stir the old grey matter, looking forward to seeing your work. Paul
