    G'day all,

I'm a little late here due to technological problems, but hello to you all :)

I'm a youngish lad from Sydney who's been around both the model scene and the heritage railway scene a fair little bit in my time in the hobby. I currently volunteer up in Lithgow with a heritage group up there, and will be trying to keep members abreast of the situation where able.

I also have quite a passion for CAD and 3D printing as a couple of the moderators can attest to, and hopefully will shortly be releasing a 3D printed kit of a Peckett 1687/W6 class and of the North Eastern Railways 1909 wooden snowploughs (Nos.18-20)

I quite look forward to my time here. While I may not be the most active member ever, I will certainly chuck my two bob in the ring as able

    Zane

Thank you kindly for the warm welcome all, even if a dimension is lacking somewhere ;)

Ron, the number 69843 was chosen as I quite like the Robinson A5s, and the number 69843 is the 'next on' of the BR numbering. It started off as a bit of an in joke as a cross between the number a new build might take and the number that would have actually been filled without 5447 being withdrawn due to cracked frames in 1942. And really, it's just stuck from there!
