A discussion on a facebook group (Micro/Small Model RR Layouts) about switch lists last night, a member posted up this link to 'Train Traxx', a tracking system for your model railway. Those who are into the black art of computer control would possibly be interested in this system as it tracks the whereabouts of each individual piece of rolling stock on your layout. It would be ideal if you are into shunting/switching and have a larger layout with many destinations for your freight wagons/cars. For all information about this system : https://www.traintraxx.com/?fbclid=IwAR2jJE4Mz4Km0QZfZ9iX_zjwB6C1Qx_wLGulpavZI2KnKDRHUofyNPXvQhI This video describes how the system works. To me though, it's all up in the clouds.... This video shows the installation (sort of...) Cheers, Gary.
Interesting, I'm very much into freight shunting/switching, however installation into a scenically completed railway looks, well difficult to say the least, unless the device range is sufficient to work through the baseboard. Cloud use for multiple control devices looks useful too but not keen on relying on internet access to run my railway. Thanks for posting, think I will mail them with a few questions including connection to my traffic management software. Jim
