finally got around to detailing, adding a sound decoder and starting to paint the Lickey Hill Banker. New wheel set from Walsall Wheels in the uk Missing pipework added. Tender cut out to allow easier manual coal loading done. First blow over with grime colour. Coal dust effect added to tender side, caused by hand loading the coal. Work in progress........ Kim
Congratulations on making POTW Kimbo a superb engine posing on a superb layout setting and a very nice weathering job as well
POTW.. lads. When I get back from my trip, hopefully finish off a few things and then get a video clip done of her working on Ralph’s incline on his garden layout
Cheers Ian, Ralph. Ralph’s been busy while I’ve been away. He added a siding ready for the banker.... nice one Ralph, look forward to seeing it. That buffer stop might be a bit over the top
Well it’s taken a few hours of work but it’s nearly there, ballast weight for the wheels are cut out and need painting, then fitting, then some more detailing can be done on the rods..... Kim
