Thanks Sol, made a note of that. Of course the only problem with knuckle couplings, is that they don't look very prototypical on small wagons. Not that I'm saying T/Ls do, but I do think small Bachmann T/Ls are unobtrusive on small PO type open wagons. Ed
Ed, your comment about 4 wheel wagons don't look right with knuckle couplers - well most of Australian 4 wheel stock did get converted http://www.pjv101.net/cd/images/c113m.jpg is one such example All of South Aust stock changed from hook & chain and the like to knuckles many, many years ago
Oo-err get a 404 error on that link Sol. I'm still learning about how coupling changed (amongst other things), but I thought as the PO wagons and smaller wagons became redundant newer BR bulk load type wagons were fitted with screw link. Ed
