this is a 200mm x 200mm working diorama which is going to be modelled in OO gauge era 10. As you can see the build is progressing nicely but I still have a tree to add and some shrubs. Weathering around the oil drums still needs completing and I think the buffer still needs to be a little overgrown.
Hi thanks for the likes. This morning I have been concentrating on the oil around by the oil drums and also down the middle of the track as found with Diesel engines.
Afternoon fellow modellers. Today I have been busy completing the overgrown buffer stop area. The embankment has now sprouted a silver birch tree and some lovely yellow flowering ground cover. I pleased with this little diorama, a few more tiny bits of detail to add along with a wagon and 04 diesel loco
Pete, May i ask how your stone wall was built I am looking at something like that for my garden railway cottages.
Gloria thanks for the nice comments. Gloria I like to scratchbuild my walls as you can make them look how you want. The wall on the diorama is made from plasticard which I purchase in A4 size sheets the thickness I used for wall is 2mm which is also ideal for making buildings. I hope this helps you.
Hi Pete, Thank you ever so much yes they are lovely and have helped a lot. Also you are welcome for the likes I have given you, I always give credit where its due. Regards, Gloria.
