Hi Alan, aboard. I got your message from jollyolly. Can you please do a post here and let me know that you are in. If not maybe Jollyolly can come back to me again. You should be good to go. Once again. ..... to the mad house. Toto
Hi Toto and Jollyolly, yes I am in thank you very much. Nice to be here and so glad you guys were able to help with my email address that somehow got botched and prevented me from gaining access. A little bit about me. I am a 72 yr old male living in Galong, NSW (near Harden). I have a number of interests, the usual motorcyles and cars etc but my latest interest is in Model railways OO gauge to be more specific. I don't have much yet but am starting to purchase the hobby tools necessary along with a box of Peco 100, OO gauge Flexi Track (25 x 900mm? lengths) the next task I must face is to clear out the spare (junk) room to allow for some plywood baseboard. I am hoping to find a like minded enthusiast or two in Harden or perhaps Young, NSW. However I am sure the information I will find here will be invaluable.
Hi Alan from sunny Spain .. thanks for the intro I'm sure you'll find all the info you need here on the platform … any questions just fire away Ian vt
G'day Alan, Welcome aboard from Sydney. Nice intro and sounds like the you are preparing your self and the room for the layout. Will it be around the walls affair or a straight out baseboard in the centre of the room ? Plenty of tips and tricks to learn from these pages and our members and I'm sure there will be some secrets you will be sharing with us in the future. Get yourself settled in, read up, browse the pics and gets stuck in. Most of all, enjoy the camaraderie and banter that is P1MRC. Cheers, Gary.
Delighted you are on board with us and thanks for letting us know that you are up and running on the forum. Loads of info on here so have a good rake about and if there is any specific questions you have ....... Just shout out. Again, welcome to Platform1. Toto
