Thank you for letting me join the forum and for the warm welcome. My main railway modelling is building dioramas in different sizes and different scales.

    Hi Bo Bo,

    Look under members personal layouts.

Either the layout or plank threads but I will look at adding a new section specifically for dioramas and static displays as there are one or two members do these.

Your post has acted as a good prompt for me.

    Many thanks

Toto a section dedicated to static displays and diorama would be fantastic, I am just starting another diorama in 009 scale.

Section created kind Sir. Always happy to try and accomodate.

I can try and move your " Alone " thread over into that section but I'll wait until I am on my PC as I am currently on my Galaxy pad thingy in my local. :avatar::cheers:

I'll look forward to seeing your new creation ....... any hints on what's to come ...... or keeping us guessing :avatar:

    Cheers buddy

Toto that’s fantastic, if you can move it to the new section of the forum. As for my a hint it’s the same size plinth but will be coal theme with an L&BR open wagon.

Just a thought, given your thirst for dioramas and scenic, I suggest you look on Gary's, York Paul's or Ian volvos threads to name but a couple because you will be in good company. I believe that we are fortunate to have some of the most talented modellers in the hobby on Platform1.

I'm sure you'll get to know these guys and others. Keep up the excellent work Sir.

    Cheers

The coal scene has always been a favourite of mine as there is so much scope for various different elements. Especially when on a larger canvas. Allsorts of mechanisation and industrialisation. Sort of shows off the power and potential for the locomotives and what they were capable of.

    Great choice.

    Hi Bo-Bo, welcome aboard.

I noticed from your comments on Andy Sollis' thread, that you liked his garden railway.

As a good friend of Andy, I'm sure he won't mind me pointing you in the direction of my version of an outdoor railway. Just search for Kudby Ennyware.

    Hope you like it.
