I think my vino's corked as I used to cover Lcut buildings in Ss's paper, so how come it never occurred to me now  thanks mate, I shall now give it my consideration :scratchchin:

Cork bed down (found just enough where I'd stored it behind set of drawers).. next will be temporarily positioning track to mark dock walls for cutting the sea area out using dremel

Cheers Bo-Bo after trying a Scalescenes freebie build in N gauge I decided that apart from some boats and the dock wall I'll be sticking to Metcalfe for the buildings ... its safer

Moving apace with rain on the horizon harbour area cut out ... walls to do next (facia will be last) ... means if I'm having a lock in (in the apartment) i can have fun getting on with it ... *** no dining tables were harmed during the making of this harbour

dock almost finished … boats/ship to do .. the base is 'Smartmodels weathered concrete' paper download but after a couple of coats of clear varnish I reckon it'll look the biz (it already looks like reflections beneath the wall) … the dock wall is our all-time favourite Scalescenes n gauge stone but to save time and fingers I used long matchsticks wrapped in Ss timber pile paper … the bonus of doing the build this way is I can add the boats etc and put to one side whilst I work on the main baseboard ,,, it keeps my tinto hand free ...
