Making Scenic grass from a dish cloth

    Nice one Kimbo not something I had thought off as a grass substitute. I do have some cloths [UK] but they are smooth on all sides so I'll need to have a search about for your furry versions.
    Teddy bear fur is quite often used here but I like the fact that your version are designed to be water absorbent so should follow contours better as well as taking paint on board.
    I'll file away your tips for when I get around to grassing which is a little further down the line.

    Quite impressed by this...

    the resultant finish is fantastic and also love the choice of loco... it was based about 4 miles away from me :thumbs:

    Interesting. It's amazing how many ideas come to fruition on forums etc. like this one. Now in my files to try later on when I start doing grass.

    Great idea, wonder if fabric paint would work better. Might give it a try on my competition build.
