    Hi Bob,
What part of the country are you in and why are you selling the printer?

    Thanks
    Paul

    Hi Paul
    I am in Inverenss.
The reason for selling is I have Two Prusa's ( I used to create 3D prints for selling but I have given that up in retirement)
The printer is in perfect condition.
    thanks
    Bob

    Thanks Bob,
Do you have the original box/packaging for the printer so I could arrange someone like Hermes to collect it, or does it really need collecting on a dedicated trip?
I ask as Inverness is a bit more than a day trip!
Might be able to get my sons who both have estates to do a staged collection. One lives near Chester and the other near me in Bedfordshire.

Will contact you again in a day or two after I have looked into 3D Printers a bit more and what parts I and my friends in modelling might produce from it!
Any information on the sort of things and their sizes you make on the machines would be appreciated?

    Best regards
    Paul

    Hi Paul

No I don’t have the original box and that would not really help as it was a kit I built up. ( I could not afford the built up price)
I have built wagons for the 00 railway and for the 16mm garden railway I have .
I have built Kyle station and signal box.
If you look in my gallery you will see a lot oof the things I made.

    You can build things up to 11,025 cm3 (25 x 21 x 21 cm or 9,84 x 8,3 x 8,3 in)

I have built a RC F1 car on it. Here’s a link to the original one.

and a 20CM diameter fly wheel for a steam engine.

To be honest you are only limited in what you build by your imagination.

The reason I went with the Prusa is it can print practically all the different filaments you can buy. This included PETG (you could build a clone of the Prusa with this) and Flexible Filament (Tyres for the car.)

I personally don’t think you can buy a better printer.

The first one I built (a Prusa i3 MK 2) is still going strong and has over 1000 hours printing without a fault.

Here's a link to the product page.

    Thanks

    Hi Bob,
The more I think about this, the more I conclude that initially my heart was ruling my head and that realistically I just wouldn't be able to get to grips with 3D printing anytime soon - just got too much else on!

So I am sorry to muck you about, but I think I ought to duck out on this machine.

I hope you fin a good home for it soon.

    Best regards
    Paul
