Just received an email from DCC Concepts outlining their new dummy Westinghouse Pneumatic Point motors. These come in N scale, OO scale and O gauge. See links below. N : https://www.dccconcepts.com/product...197243221&mc_cid=a66419a87a&mc_eid=2ae22d4d8f OO : https://www.dccconcepts.com/product...197243221&mc_cid=a66419a87a&mc_eid=2ae22d4d8f O : https://www.dccconcepts.com/product...197243221&mc_cid=a66419a87a&mc_eid=2ae22d4d8f Only if DCC Concepts would manufacture them in HO scale for the Australian and European markets... Cheers, Gary.
Well, the website says they are OO/HO. Which does pose the question, is it based on 1:87 or 1:76? Assuming they are 1m long in real life (i can measure one in point cloud tomorrow) then there would only be a difference of about 1.6mm anyway. The height and width difference would be quite negligible. Or am I missing the point? Cheers Tony
If you can prove there may be a market for them, then why not suggest it to them? I thought they were a NZ company anyway? Sure the original address when they first started retailing was none UK? Failing that, see if someone had drawings and we could always look at a 3D print? Andy
You're right Andy, but not NZ. Richard started the business in Perth, Western Australia. I'm just surprised he hasn't looked into HO scale models of these... Cheers, Gary.
