I spotted these on a facebook advert, the supplier was in the states but I googled the description and found the same things on Amazon. They are basically the same as the Scotch block for joining wires with a plastic block with a metal insert for fitting a Lucar type connection the same as on vehicle wiring. Anyway these photos should explain better than me. I will explain after putting up the photos why I bought them. The blocks on the left are the things you clip to the main wire and the connectors you crimp to the wire you wish to join to the main wire or Bus. See where I'm going here? The reason I wanted to try them, and I know they are not recommended for layout wiring but after the faffing about when soldering up my layouts I decided to give them a try. Any hoo when I eventually get around to doing some wiring I will report back. Oh, there are three different sizes, the yellow ones are the biggest and would probably be best for the bus. Hi Peye, I used these on Rosebuddy and they are fine. Care should be taken when crimping them shut to try and get a flat, even pressure on the " suitcase " and if you do, you should not have any issues. Toto
