    Hi York Paul,
Thank you for your reply yes I quite agree we are so far away down here from anything. We do travel to Doncaster in May when Rounhose Engineering have their open day. We have got to know the staff who works there which is lovely. I will just to have to keep trying as this is a different project to the one previously mentioned as this is for steam fairs and shows.
    Regards,
    Gloria.

Hi Gloria, as York Paul says it is a long way down to you to be of any help. However, do you use Facebook? if so you may find some help on there if you join some of the modelling/model engineering pages. They tend to have a much wider audience. There are one or two steam rally pages too that may be able to help you out.

    Regards, Pete.

    Hi Pete,
Thank you ever so much Cornwall seems the hardest place to start a new venture the council doesn't seem interested like they do in other parts of the UK . Yes I have asked on Facebook no replies.I think this is go it alone venture as I have been asked to bring it to steam rallies it's an electric loco I have at the moment. Hopefully meet you at the show in April.
    Regards,
    Gloria.

If you are happy to use Facebook Gloria then we will add you in as friends and this will give your projects a wider audience as well, there are many forums as Pete says who would be very interested in what you do and would pass the word so to speak. Pete adds me in to some of his groups as I do likewise and this is a good way to promote and discover what is happening in the hobby.

    Good afternoon York Paul,
Thank you ever so much as that would be great if you could. The more publicity the better I think . I have enquired on Facebook if anyone has bit of land that they are not using and would they like a miniature railway on it but have had no replies.
    Regards,
    Gloria.

Now if your needing overgrown vegetation - I have plenty - must get fuel for the lawn mower, although I think the hedge trimmer may the more appropriate tool.

    Nice progress Gloria

Hi everyone hope you are all safe and keeping well. A further update regarding Moseley Toy and Train Museum. They have very kindly opened their doors to volunteers only this week. They are hoping soon that visitors may be able to visit as long as the 2m distance is maintained as laid down by the Government. Work has started by a very kind vouteer who helped me with laying some ballast down for the 7.25 test track, until work with the main track gets underway. Things are progressing slowly, on that side of things soon work will start on our permanent 16mm garden narrow gauge railway. Will post more updates if and when as I know I have a great following of lovely people on Platform1Mrc.
    Regards,
    Gloria.
