Gunner and a warm welcome to the forum from a wet Dundee Looking forward to hearing about yourself and modelling adventures Paul
Thanks all, looks to be an intresting site. I attempt to model 50/60s BR Eastern region in O gauge. Baseboards are about 30 ft by 14ft. Most of the station area has had the track laid and wired for dcc operation, points and hopefully signals are analogue. The station represents the end of double track to single track just to be different. Fiddle yard still to be built. I will try to post the track plan but here are some photos of progress so far.
Welcome aboard, Sounds interesting. Looking forward to your progress pictures. 30ft by 14 ft. That's a decent size, plenty of scope there. Cheers Toto
This is looking very good. A neat job on these platform curves. Very impressive. It looks like you have a way to go so feel free to post up a thread under Members Personnal Layouts and use it as your progress posting. Give it a name and make it easier for the other members to find. I'm sure this is going to be a very popular thread. Thanks again for posting Toto
Hi Gunner from a very warm Spain .. great start with the posts youve put on here, that shed is real quality Ian vt
Hello and welcome to the forum Gunner. I saw the posts on Facebook too, really impressive modelling mate, well done!! Keep the updates coming please. Cheers, Pete.
Just looking back at your shed build there. Very realistic finish. I think I will revisit my Townstreet kits soon to recap on what I have. I love to see a nicely textured brick finish on buildings. The light just finishes it off. Toto
That is a superb shed scene Gunner and a deserved winner, it instantly got my vote because it ticked all the boxes for authenticity, realism, light, shade, texture and atmosphere. I have made the connection now... looking forward to following the project build too.
