I decided to add a bit of clarification to the use of the coal hut / weighbridge kit. Scalescenes describe the kit as suitable as a coal yard hut with skaithes or weighbridge hut with a weighbridge. I had ruled earlier that all parts of this kit can be included in any formation that you like. This still stands. Additionally, if you wish, you could simply build it as a coal shed with skaithes or a weighbridge shed with weighbridge. this would mean that if intended as a weighbridge, the skaithes could be omitted and vice versa if intended as a coal merchant, the weighbridge could be omitted. personally I would have thought that the weighbridge could be used in either scenario but it is up to the individual. Either way, the shed is the main part of the build and the other two elements could be as part of a choice or both used. There are some very tight determinations of the rules and some clever thinking being applied here. people are trying to gain an edge. If you are not sure ...... please ask. Good luck Toto
I wonder. although more as some competitive fun as opposed to a serious need to win. The banter takes over and I suspect we shall have some moments when we see how people have applied / interpreted the rules. After all we have people trying to build in goats and donkeys to the remit. ........ Where does it end. I'm surprised that we have not had the request to turn the shed into a manger. ( I'll not name the person I have in mind here ) but NO Ian you can't. complete with three wise men or is that mods. .... Probably not..... No wisdom on this forum ...... Just my Norman that's all.
Hi Jack, I'm struggling with that one. Too many good entries and the standards are high. I'll need to consult my crystal ball. What about yourself ........ Can we be expecting to see a picture of you with all your fingers glued together ...... a bit like mine get Toto
