After 60 ish years of 00 gauge I decided to flog the lot earlier this year, 100+ locos and all that goes with them, and go for 0.

    Old layout.

Great stuff. Nice to see a military theme as well. These always prove popular.

    Thanks for posting

My real passion is aircraft so thought a small museum would fill a space. Always preferred the Hurricane and the Sopwith Camel is there because our daughter has been a WW1 fanatic for at least 30 years, so I thought it would please her when ever she visited us.

There all a bit up in the air for me  :avatar:

Like yourself, I have modelled 4 mm for years both OO and tried a bit of P4 as well, but have now seen the light and have started in O.

    Like the results so far.

It is the best model railway decision I have made. I have 7 locos and a few goods wagons. Not getting any passenger stock, not enough room. In fact I didn’t run passenger trains on my 00 layout.

Aircraft wise I don’t build kits but collect the occasional diecast.

Nothing wrong with a bit of variation. The planes are interesting to.

Thank you Gormo. Was quite a wrench getting rid of all the 00 stuff. Kept four locos two of which are GWR/WR.

I'm just starting in 0 gauge, but I'm not parting with my 00 gauge stuff as being a "Southern" fan, whilst there is plenty of Southern steam loco choice in 00 gauge, as yet I can't say the same for 0 gauge, but in time, who knows?

Don’t have room to run both so the 00 track came up and the 0 went down. Nice to have a lump of dosh to spend.

Wow great little layout thanks for sharing
Really shows you don’t need a huge space to model in O scale.
