Hi there Peter and to the forum from a very hot East Yorkshire, great to welcome another O Gauge steam kit builder so hope you enjoy your stay, do post up your project bench work because you inspired me with that ACME Ivatt 2 tank build from your Ramblings blog and I'm sure other folk here will be inspired too. Again nice to have you on board . cheers York Paul
Peter, and a warm welcome from sunny Dundee Great to have you on board and look forward to hearing from you Once again welcome to the forum Paul
Hello and welcome to the forum Peter, great to have you on board!! Really looking forward to seeing your modelling. Cheers, Pete.
I've a bit of a problem. Attached is a screenshot of messages. They don't actually open so I can't read them. I use a Motorola cell phone on Android, using Google.
Peter are you able to PM either Paul_L or Toto to help resolve this issue or would you want me contact them on your behalf ?
Hi Peter, I've just picked up on your post ( from my bed ) let me have a look and see what's happening. It will be something simple. I am assuming this is PM's which are showing in your account that you cant open when clicking on them. I just want to make sure that I am reading this right. It may be into tomorrow before I get it resolved. Its sounds like a strange one but we'll get to the bottom of it. So far, we haven't seen this type of issue before. Leave it with me. Cheers Toto
Just noticed that you are trying but a mobile phone. That may be part of it. Do you have another device that you could try with. A laptop or desk top. This may need an element of elimination. If you can get into your messages from one of them, it may ge the phone is not optimised for the forum ..... or the other way around. Just one more thing ..... make sure you are fully logged in as well. It would be handy if you could try. Many thanks Toto
Hi Peter, Tried a test message to your PM Can you come back to let me know what .... if anything you can see. Cheers Toto
I tried on my mobile and got the exact same screen as yourself, Scroll down to the bottom of the page you will see your message. Paul is also responding with another option involving setting your phone screen so when you turn your phone horizontal..... the message shows in a better format. Cheers Toto
Hi Peter Is your phone set to auto rotate, if not do so, then hold the phone horizontal (Landscape) the image should rotate and the menus and content display correctly. Paul
Thanks guys. I've now found them. I have not tried the laptop yet. But I will. I do most of everything on the phone. Thanks again.
No worries Peter, I think you can forget the laptop now we know what the initial issue was with the use of the mobile. I'm pretty safe in saying you will not have any issue with the laptop. Cheers for now Toto
