I'm so sorry for my absence- I shall try to do better!!! The Garrett was a nightmare to build, as it is not a good kit - but has eventually turned out to be my favourite loco! I've been doing a lot of experimenting over the last year or so - particularly with 4mm, purely to see if I can get the same performance out of the smaller scale. No see too many small vehicles racing round like insects.... I started off with Bedford TK, and then did an artic, a six-legger (with both rear axles driven) and finally a Landrover.
I also completed a 7mm scale Austin 7 And a couple of tipper lorries - one a Bedford TK and the other a Ford Thames
I have also scratchbuilt a working conveyor (making the belt was fun!) And most lately, a 7mm forklift.
Hats off to you mate...one of the most suspensefull operating sessions I have witnessed you have an amazing eye for detail...this is one of the best lil masterpeices I have seen in a while. Thanks for sharing.
