Well the teaser arrived today - the AnyCubic Wash and Cure a device for both surprisingly washing and curing resin prints.

As part of thier 5th year anniversay they are offering several products at good discounts, and in this case the $219 device for $129 - approx £103 when I placed the order.

As with every Anycubic device I've received they are well packaged.

So once dug out I am left with this

Like many of the 3D printer manufacturers Anycubic are using the lift of lid type of design rather than the opening door type of the Photon. This does give easier access.

    Cure Mode

I still have to remove the protective paper from the plate - but it shows up better in the photo.
You place the model(s) on the base, select Cure on the front panel, and the time you want it to run for (2, 4 or 6 min). Press play and off it will go - providing you have correctly replaced the cover, there is a sensor to detect the cover is in the correct position to protect you and the area from UV damage.

    Wash mode

The container has a rotor inside

When running the rotor is turned by a magnet in the base.

Two different senarios are catered for parts bigger than 18mm (the size of the basket mesh) can be placed in supplied basket

Or for smaller parts these can be left on the build plate, and using the brackets provided the build plate can be submerged into the bath.

Fill the bath with your favourate solvent / detergent of choice - no higher than the max fill level, hence you dont add the liquid until the models are in the bath.

Select Wash mode and the time again 2, 4 or 6 min and press play.

Anycubic suggest allowing the parts to fully air dry before curing to avoid white deposits on the final models.
