Very Nice. Immaculate model. Great to see you find your posting legs. Feel free to share more. We always like to see some eye candy. Great stuff Cheers Toto
Thank you Toto. I have just been running it on my test plank and it brings back memories of the odour which comes from these old locos. I will certainly be showing more of my stash.
I used to have a few damaged Wrenn R1's, seem to remember making a makey up Garret with a couple of them, and was looking at making a NSR 0-6-0T tank, by combining the R1 chassis and a set of valve gear from a Duchess - never happened as I couldn't afford the duchess valve gear. Don't forget to oil the felt bushes. Paul
This is my bible to all Wrenn locomotives produced. I don’t go for the new Wrenn stuff produced by Dapol. It’s has to be original or not at all.
This is another one of my pristine models. A Wrenn W2246 2-6-4 Caledonian Railway lined blue livery tank.
I’m glad they didn’t make an O gauge version because it would cost a lot and I think I would have to get one.
