This very nice model arrived from Rails Of Sheffield recently and runs very nicely indeed. The glue is rather like old Evostik so she was easy to dismantle. Even the glazing could be pushed out. So the body work was dismantled and she was given a proper new identity.
Nice. GWR is not my cup of tea, but It does sit well on that loco. Will you be adding any shirt buttons?
Thanks Andy, I`m still pondering on a shirt button because Sentinel No 12 only spent one year (1927) on GWR metals before it was returned to Sentinel. So a shirt button would be a much later livery logo....... but I still might do it as it would look well on her. John
No, I’ve imagined that. Can’t find a photo anyway. Unless it was that other GWR narrow gauge railway.
OOhh !! lovely Some body did an etched kit of this some years back...wished I`d grabbed one... I have got a small GWR transfer set but I think that`s too late for my period , but a shirt button would be spot on time wise and I think would also look better.
