    Thanks for that Rob, very interesting and informative. I wish I'd seen it before my first attempts at cutting 2mm strips of plasticard with a scalpel the other day - they all curled :(

    Good work Rob. Shows beginners what they need to know in basic techniques. Styrene can be used for almost anything except live steam :>)

    Plasticard is great to work with. I have been using it for 25 years, mostly that from Evergreen Styrene. I purchased a Right Track DVD some time back name 'Building Buildings with Geoff Taylor'. This dvd is fantastic as it too shows the modeller all the tricks to do working with plasticard/styrene.
