    Hi Kim,
Thank you ever so much. I hope we get some volunteers to help out which would be great, but won't hold our breaths. Just have to wait and see now.
    Regards,
    Gloria

Hi everyone hope you are all keeping fit and well. Things are a bit quiet here in Cornwall at the moment. Weather hold ups but luckily our Museum is still open to the public. The 7.25 loco shed is being built and near completion which will be good so we can work on our projects in the dry with our own workshop and office. Regarding the track that is on hold for the time being. The 16mm garden railway is under way working parties every Tuesday again weather permitting. That's all the news from this neck of the woods for now updates will follow.
    Regards
    Gloria

Hi Gloria, I was reading an FB post from Moseley museum about part of the track bed being washed away during a storm, did it affect your set up at all?

    Pete.

    Hi Pete,
No I was very lucky it was the 2ft Industrial Railway where the problem was. Mine is still intact. The 2ft are still operating from the old original station. Hopefully work can start today on repairing the 2ft. Will let you know more Pete after today.
    Regards
    Gloria

Good morning. Hope you all had a lovely Christmas under the circumstances that was thrown at us Wishing you a Happy New year to everyone on Platform 1mrc. Let's hope 2021 is a much better year than the one just gone. A further update as from 31st December Moseley Toy and Train Museum in Redruth Cornwall, has closed its doors until further notice. As some of you may have read and heard Cornwall has now been moved up from tier 2 to 3. Once the all clear has been given to resume normal practices the museum will be reopened. I am also in the process of trying to get a live steam 7.25 locomotive for the museum to create more interest. Work is still ongoing behind the scenes of trying to build and finish the railway ready hopefully for the summer if everything goes according to plan. Further updates to follow.
    You all take care
    Regards
    Gloria

Tier Three, och your just beginning, the whole of Scotland is in Tier 4. On the plus side it stops Toto calling in and drinking all my coffee :avatar:

    Hi Paul,
Thank you ever so much. Happy New Year to you and your family. Hope it will be better than last year. I don't think it will be long before we are in tier 4 the way things are going, we have 23 new cases where I live.
Sorry to hear Toto drinks all your coffee but not being able to visit you.
    Please take care.
    Gloria.

A belated Happy new year Gloria. Its good to have something to occupy your time so you aren't brooding on your loss of Steph. It will take a long time to come to terms with her loss and you will never get over it, you will just learn to live with it. We are all here to support you in any way we can, keep strong and safe, if we are allowed to travel later in the year, I will be asking you to get the kettle on! 'Cos I'm determined to get some use out of our caravan this year!
Fingers crossed, the Peterborough show may go ahead in April, at least it's something to look forward to.

    Cheers, Pete.

    Good morning Pete,
Thank you ever so much for your reply and support. I think Toto is trying to send donations to Moseley on Stephs behalf to keep it open and carry out the work that Steph started to completion. As Moseley has now closed their doors from 26th December to volunteers and the general public all the work is on hold.
Peterborough Show Pete is in June this year once I know the date I will pass it onto you. The kettle will be on and a Cornish Pasty will be available for you both. :)
    Regards.
    Gloria.
Ps you both take care xxx
