Hello there, I've had a colour called Deck Tan 986 on order from a UK supplier now for several weeks who has said they are awaiting restocks of Vallejo Products and the internet suppliers are also appearing now to be running out of certain colours. Has anyone else here experienced issues obtaining Vallejo Paints as there seems to be a total out of stock on certain colours generally ?
I believe my local hobby shop was attempting to restock their Vallejo range. I decided to give the SMS range a go and they are great paints ! Cheers, Gary.
I have been lucky as I recently purchased a Vallejo Model Colour set called Equestrian Colours which contain a lot of the tones I think are needed for Leek station. Gary I managed to get every colour you suggested except the Deck Tan 986 but have 987 Medium Grey and 874 Tan Earth in this pack which may be equivalent tones if mixed. My concern is I'll need a lot of Vallejo to do the whole station in order to maintain an overall consistency.
Have you tried Element Games, they have Deck tan in stock https://elementgames.co.uk/search?q=deck+tan+986 Malc
Hi Malc, I have two 17ml bottles of Deck Tan ordered from Element who have the full range shown, sadly they have had to back order me as they too are currently out of stock with this one. They apologized profusely and promised to send as soon as in stock again.
My local hobby shop has just started selling Vallejo paints, he has just started with the basic range and will hopefully increase it. He did this as the Model Master paint range has become impossible to re-order and most Tamiya has been on back order with the local distributor for a very long time. Tamiya thin liquid cement is basically impossible to buy around here. I agree with the earlier comment of too many modellers with too much time on their hands. Cheers Tony
Dave Coley's are showing stock - http://www.davecoleysemporium.co.uk...V-Vallejo-986-Model-Colour-Deck-Tan-17ml.html
Same here.. if only we had one in town. Have to go to the next town for them (and Kirkby is where you hear the Banjos playing as you get closer!)
There is a branch of Boyes in Heanor which is where Son lives, but as we haven't been able to visit for some time, I've no idea of the stock situation. Keith.
Well a big thank you to Mr Porter for the heads up with Dave Colley who had just what was needed in stock, so an confirmation email from him to say to 17ml bottles of Vallejo 986 Deck Tan colour is on its way to me right now... when it arrived it'll be time to start the artistic stuff.
I'm looking forward to the artistic stuff ! Then again, everything that comes out of your hands is a work of art ! Cheers, Gary.
