and a warm welcome to the forum from Dundee Great to have you on board and I'm looking forward to hearing about yourself and your modelling adventures. Once again welcome to the forum Paul
Morning I'm Alfie, thank you to admin for letting me become a member of the forum. As a child I like many others have had a hornby trainset at some point. My modelling interests moved on slightly from model railways to war gaming. Since loco down I have rekindled my interest of model railway but I have took the route of O gauge. This is mainly because of ones eyes not being so young anymore and also because of the detail that is captured in the wagons and locomotives. There will be many questions.
and to the forum Alfie from Yorkshire, glad to have you with us so ask as much as you like and someone will always help even if it is specialist advice you need. Like you I switched over to Gauge O after a long absence from OO and the disadvantage of having less room is compensated by an increase detail in the locos and stock. Good luck and happy modelling. cheers York Paul
Hi Alfie You going to find many like minded souls here, and some who are not long behind you on the journey (they just haven't realised it yet ). You know where we are so just ask away ...... we may even have the right answer - it's been known to happen . Paul
Welcome to the forum Alfie, I've just read and commented on your first post. You are going to be an asset to the forum with your wargaming background! Enjoy mate! Cheers, Pete.
