Hi I'm looking at weathering one of my factory weathered wagons further. They always seem to be weathered with a brown paint which some times just don't look realistic enough.
If anyone has had a go at improving the weathering on a factory weathered wagon, it would be nice to know and see what your results were.

Possibly pick out the iron work with dark rust, give the whole wagon a dark wash and pick out the axle guards and brakes with brake block light brown then give the whole lot a coating with weathering powders for texture, brush of the excess into an old margarine tub and seal with some matt acrylic spray.

    Pete.

In some cases, whatever you do to it will be an improvement!

A blast with brown paint on a production line isn't weathering in my book!
