This is going to be my first plank build in O gauge. The name of the plank is Alfie,s yard which is a fictitious name but will be themed around a coal yard around the 1920s.
The board is a shelf which will measure 600mm x 200mm and will fit nicely into a wrapping paper box.
Jakesdad 7mm photo plank has inspired me and has shown me that this can be achieved.
I have ordered a yard length of Peco O gauge SL700 Bullhead track which is ideal for this build. In the coming weeks I will be sourcing a small terrier loco for this layout. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to add a picture of my baseboard construction.

    Same here :)

I also had a similar sized plank, with a small tunnel at the end, but it got lost in the many moves we did over the years.

Thanks for the interest. I should have received my track and a wagon today but DPD must be really busy.
Tomorrow I should have the items. ;)

Hi everyone one of my coal wagons arrived today for my Alfie,s yard plank build. Will need weathering in due course. I have also ordered a brick coal office and wood coal bunker from 422 modelling.

A nice little terrier would go a treat with your new wagon mate!
