Hi Kevin, please drop a post in so we know your getting the messages and logged in - what’s your interest and gauge? Andy… in Notts. (Or is that Knotts?)
Evening everyone, sorry for the late reply. Sometimes family life does get in the way of modelling. First of all thank you for letting me become a member of the forum. I'm old fashioned as I still love railway modelling in oo gauge or 4mm At the moment I am current building a small plank so I can take photographs of my locos and wagons. My interest in the hobby lies with the initial privatisation or Era9. I am hoping to participate in some of the forum discussions once I find my way around.
Sounds interesting.. we will look Forward to seeing some scribbles and photos of your work… popcorn at the ready!
Things have taken a big turn in my railway modelling. I have been interested in Hornby O gauge clockwork for a long time now and finally I have taken the plunge and started collecting Hornby O gauge items. I'm in the process of purchasing some tin plate 2 rail track and some tin plate wagons. I am looking forward to sharing my progress in my new venture.
aboard Kevin, I'll look forward to seeing your collection grow. Feel free to post up some photos to let us enjoy your chosen genre. I hope you enjoy your stay with us. Toto
Toto many thanks for the welcome. I'm certain to keep the forum up to date with my new railway venture.
G'day Kevin, Welcome aboard from Sydney. Your line above that reads, "Sometimes family life does get in the way of modelling." is true. Then there is that other 40 hours a week at work...! Enjoy the forum and the good people here. Cheers, Gary.
