G`day Folks, Below is a track plan recently drawn with Anyrail I submit it here for use by anyone. It consists of 3 boards 1200 mm x 475 mm. Two are scenic and the third is a Fiddle Yard. Here are the two scenic boards Followed by a plan of the Fiddle Yard. This is a sliding yard ( traverser ) and will need to be made very carefully and accurately. And here is how it would look all joined together I think there is plenty of operating potential here. Also possibly the top of the fiddle yard could have some scenic treatment as well.??? It`s up to you what you do with it. I am currently working on a 6 x 4 plan that I may post up soon. I think the smaller plans are actually more difficult..... Gormo PS....I have also done the Fiddle Yard as a mirror reversed design that may have more appeal.
Another variation. This plan borrowed an idea from Waverley West, where the station platforms in the top right of the plan are only partially shown, and they are actually part of the Fiddle Yard. The rest of it and the rest of the station is hidden never to be seen. Even though the platforms are quite short they suggest a much grander scheme which can be useful in a confined space. Gormo
Thanks for putting these up Gormo. It let's folks see exactly what can be achieved using software. Toto
Here`s one for the youngsters 6 x 4 size with some good operating I think, even though half of the layout is storage. It`s a mixture of Peco set track and also stream line Gormo
