    Looks great. Love the apples.
I saw a cracking layout a few years back with a Cider factory and he used Sesame seeds as apples.
I don't have the time at the moment, haven't even touched the layout since the end of the diorama competition.

I WILL CALL THIS MY COMPETITION ENTRY.

Battled with ballasting this week. Bought some fine gravel from an aquarium. Looked fine until I ballasted the track with it. Looked way out of scale. So I ripped it all up, went down to the hardware store and bought a 650g jar of very fine gravel. It's called Tuscan path decorative sand. Cost $4:95 ossie dollars. Looks much better. I ended up hand colouring the ballast starting with a light blue Gray, and adding layers of darker washes until I got the result I was after. Now discovered I hate ballasting Added fencing a couple of sacks and some strange person with a wheelbarrow.

Well ..... a runaway success. A first class build. I love the corrugated tank to the side and the weathering all round is superb.

I think I am quite safe in announcing very slightly early that you are our clear and deserved winner.

    Congratulations and very well done.

Can you PM me with your email address in order to let me pass it on to Scalescenes to organise the prize delivery.

If you can also include your full postal name and address, there will be an extra surprise courtesy of Platform 1 sent out to you with my thanks for your spirit of participation.

Huge thanks for your time and efforts.

    Toto
