    Postie finally arrived with my Tamiya order from the east coast, ordered from a model shop on 19th September , posted by them with tracker on the 21st September.
    Australia post …bless them. I did ask the postie if he had driven his scooter all the way over to WA, he had a strange look on his face as he wheel spun off my driveway;)

    So i can finally start to prime these models up…..

    Camo green with one drop of black acrylic looks almost a perfect match to the original body colour.


    Any slight differences will be hidden when the completed model is weathered.

    I’ve gone with the magnet idea and installed a fine strip on metal on some plastikard then added a small magnet to the underside of each bed, works a treat with a satisfying click.








    Just the cab interior to sort out and a rear square number plate.

    I do have a box of likely looking victims for some future RC work when the mood hits me to have another bash
